About Mollie’s practice
Hi there! My name is Mollie (she/her), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia with a board certification in tele-behavioral health. For the past 15 years, I have been working as a licensed clinician in outpatient mental health clinics, rehabilitation services, acute psychiatric facilities, core service agencies, hospitals, group practices, and free-standing mental health clinics.
I believe that people have the strength they need to reach their personal growth goals. I am passionate about creating a non-judgemental therapeutic environment and supporting people through their journey. While I employ a variety of approaches based on people’s specific needs, my theoretical orientation is person-centered and solution-focused.
My areas of clinical expertise are trauma healing, life transitions, life stress, family roles/dynamics, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder-symptom management, anxiety, depression, and trauma healing. I have been able to help people increase their awareness of strengths, learn ways to set healthy boundaries, learn new coping skills, manage stress, heal from trauma, build resilience, and improve relationships and communication to provide them with a better quality of life.
