About Mikaela
I’m Mikaela-- a native Oregonian who enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Outside of work you can find me hiking, playing pickleball, weightlifting, reading, baking, and running with my rescue dog, Bandit. I earned my B.S. in Exercise Science and minor in Psychology from Pacific University, where I was also a collegiate track athlete— running sprints and hurdles. I also earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2023. Since graduating, I have enjoyed working with a variety of patient populations including those with orthopedic and neurological conditions. I have a special interest in working with individuals with hypermobility disorders/EDS, vestibular conditions, post-stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and lower extremity orthopedic conditions. My treatment philosophy focuses on using a Trauma-Informed Care approach to finding movement you enjoy in combination with evidence-based manual therapy techniques as a bridge to getting you back to the activities you love.
