Meet Julia

I’m Julia (she/her). I'm a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist committed to continually growing my clinical expertise, having completed an advanced orthopedic residency program at Oregon Health & Science University. I bring that depth of experience to pursuing my passion for working with a wide range of clients — from new parents building strength during and after pregnancy, to individuals focused on bone health and long-term skeletal strength, to those committed to staying active and maintaining independence through every decade of life, to young athletes getting back to their sport. I believe that everyone deserves to find a physical therapist who is the right fit for their individual needs.

Before becoming a physical therapist, I was a collegiate athlete, and since finishing my competitive career, I've experienced the challenge of adjusting to changes in my own capacity for performance, but also the joys of rediscovering confidence in movement and exercise after injury or big life changes. Working as a team to help you through these challenges and joys is truly my favorite part of patient care. Outside of caring for clients, I enjoy playing recreational soccer, hiking, going to Thorns games, reading (and taking down everyone's book recommendations), and attempting to check as many Portland coffee shops off my list as possible.
